Born in Ontario, Canada, Oscar Nikolic grew up with a deep appreciation for nature. From an early age, his grandparents took him on backcountry camping trips across Northern Ontario and the Gatineau Park region of Quebec, instilling in him the belief that people should live in harmony with nature.

Oscar discovered his passion for Industrial Design at Carleton University, where he completed his undergraduate degree. It was there, while picking up trail running and climbing, that he saw clearly how design could become a vehicle to share his connection with nature.

His practice sits at the intersection of technical knowledge and poetic, narrative-driven design. Drawing on his understanding of manufacturing and product development, Oscar treats each product as a medium for storytelling, one that is functional, efficient, and emotionally resonant. By blending practical manufacturing expertise with a humanistic design approach, he creates products that respond to the cultural, social, and technological shifts shaping our world.
